Oriental Chain Mfg. Co., Ltd. (OCM) was established in August, 1947 for the manufacture of roller chain.
OCM has been listed on the Osaka Stock Exchange, 2nd Section since 1961.
In December 1971, FMC Corporation, Chain Division (Link Belt) in the U.S.A. invested in OCM.
In 1980, the world's smallest chain S10, pitch 0.125 inch was first manufactured by OCM.
In 1982, the Chain Division was sold. In 1987, OCM purchased back all the shares held by FMC.
In 1996, ISO9002 was granted.
In 1999, OCM applied for patent on 3 dimensional chain.
In 2002, OCM started manufacturing roller chain with oil port oriented solid bush, OSB Series.
In May 2003, ISO9001 was granted. |
